Visa Bulletin employment-based dates since December 2001

One CSV file with every Final Action Date and Date for Filing the State Department published for EB-1, EB-2, EB-3 and EB-3 Other Workers, for all other countries, China, India, Mexico and the Philippines.

The file covers 294 bulletins from December 2001 to October 2026 and has 8,540 rows, one for each date in a bulletin table. Dates for Filing start in October 2015, the first bulletin with that chart. EB-4, EB-5 and family-sponsored categories are not in the file.

Columns

bulletin_month

Month of the bulletin, as YYYY-MM. Example: 2026-10

chart

final_action for Final Action Dates or dates_for_filing for Dates for Filing. Example: final_action

category

EB1, EB2, EB3, or EW3 for EB-3 Other Workers. Example: EB2

country

Rest of the World (all other countries), China, India, Mexico or Philippines. Example: India

as_printed

The cell as the bulletin prints it: a date such as 01NOV13, C for current, or U for unavailable. Example: 01NOV13

cutoff_date

The same date as YYYY-MM-DD, empty when the cell is C or U. Example: 2013-11-01

Category and country values are the same as in the USCIS inventory file, so the two files join on those columns.

Where the dates come from

Each row comes from the bulletin the State Department published for that month on travel.state.gov. Two-digit years from 50 to 99 are read as 1950 to 1999.
